Welcome to Bon Secours
Volunteer Ministry Program!
A
program of the Sisters of Bon Secours, the Volunteer Ministry provides a
way for lay women and men to volunteer full time within the urban
communities of Baltimore, Maryland and other east coast cities.
Volunteers
are Good Help, the meaning of Bon Secours, to people in need.
They minister in health care,
human services, teaching, child care, adult literacy, adults with
developmental disabilities, education of middle-school girls, and
neighborhood organizing.
Volunteers live the Sisters' mission of revealing God's compassion, healing and liberation to all whom we meet
and serve. Community living, simplicity and a commitment to a spiritual
journey are cornerstones of the program.
