Bon Secours presence in Great Britain is concentrated in London, the main headquarters of the Sisters in Britain, Glasgow, Bourne End, and Bucks.

The Sisters have always tried to respond to the needs of the time and place in which they find themselves, always with the aim of bringing healing and hope where suffering exists.

Sickness and suffering take many forms, and the Sisters try to be open to respond to all areas. This is reflected in the various works performed by them. Some minister to, and are with people who suffer through being homeless, some journey with those struggling with alcohol or drug addictions, others nurse in general hospital settings with people during illness, others nurse in the field of elderly care, often being a last companion to someone who has no other family member. Support is also given to families of people in Prison. pt_bed2.JPG (14520 bytes)

It is not really what each Sister does that is important, but that wherever they are, and whatever they do, that each is a presence of God’s "Good Help" to His people. This is the belief behind what we do. We also recognize that we are very human and often broken people ourselves, and we too receive God’s healing from each other and from the people we serve.
