Welcome to the Congregation of the Sisters of Bon Secours where we invite you to learn more about us.<\/p>\n

Founded in France in 1824 to care for patients in their homes, we continue our 200-year history of being \u201cGood Help to Those in Need\u201d by participating in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Today our international ministry has a presence in France, Ireland, Great Britain, Peru and the United States, as well as in our newest community in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Sisters of Bon Secours have health care facilities in the United States, Ireland and Peru and provide health care and social services to those in need in all our communities.<\/p>\n

We know that our mission of compassion, healing and liberation is needed as much in our world today as it has ever been. You will see evidence of this as you read on our website about the work of our international Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Committee as we continue to discern our response to the current and ongoing realities of both the COVID-19 crisis, the call for racial equity worldwide and growing global immigration issues. \u201cImpelled by the Holy Spirit and renewed by the fire of our original call\u2026\u201d we are moving toward the future with renewed energy and hope.<\/p>\n

As you read these pages, please know that our doors and our hearts are open to receive new members whether as Sisters, Associates, Young Adults or Ministry Volunteers. We always welcome your questions and inquiries and invite you to explore and discern with us; and, certainly, you are always welcome to join us in prayer as we, the Sisters of Bon Secours, further our journey of being messengers of the Gospel of Jesus and \u201cGood Help to Those in Need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
